Billing Policy:

​Claremont Podiatry has the following pollicy in regards to accounts and privacy:

  • All accounts must be paid for on the day of consultation unless prior arrangement has been made.

  • We reserve the right to charge a fee for any appointment which is not attended without notification in advance.

  • Claremont Podiatry is commited to complying with the Privacy Act 1988 (Clth) and the Australian Privacy Principles 2014 and the privacy provision of all applicable legislation.

 

Do I Need a Referral? 
A referral is not required to see us. A referral from your GP is only required for a patient to be seen under the Medicare (EPC)  or DVA scheme.

Am I Covered by my Private Health Insurance?

Health fund rebates are available for most Australian private health insurance funds including HBF, Medibank Private, BUPA, NIB, HCF, GMHBA, and many more.

Most claims are processed on the spot with HICAPS so you only pay the gap.

Rebates are also available for eligible members of Veterens' Affairs (DVA), and also for Medicare EPC Doctor's referrals.

Home Visits

Claremont Podiatry also offer home visits for patients who are unable to visit us at our clinic.

 
FEE POLICY

​An initial consultation fee is required on the first appointment.  Furthermore any fees for further treatment will be discussed with you on the day.

All patients that have been referred by their GP under the Medicare (EPC) scheme are bulk billed.

All Dept of Veterans Affairs Gold Card holders are bulk billed.

We are also Medibank Preferred & BUPA Member First preferred providers.
